BUY LOCALLY

‍‍‍OPENING SOON, 2‍‍‍018

We all want to support our local farmers and artisans, but sometimes it's not the most convenient, so we settle for the best product at the easiest place to buy.

The Market @ Rebus Works is a neighborhood "convenience" store that brings all the local artisans together under one roof to make an easy, one-stop-shopping experience for our neighborhood and Raleigh. Local breads and pastries, cheeses and dairy, poultry, vegetables, and coffee can now be found together in the Boylan Heights neighborhood.

Not only are we a store, but we also serve fresh food at our Rebus Eats food truck located directly outside our door. All ingredients are sourced directly from our farmers to bring you a quick farm-to-table experience. Step inside to shop and try one of our signature health drinks, such as home-made kombucha or kefir, or try one of our tasty coffee drinks, all made from local coffee roasts.

Helping local farmers and artisans is our passion, and we hope to make it yours! We are open Monday to Friday from 7am-3pm.

We also host a Saturday Market in our store with both core and non-core / guest vendors every Saturday from 10am-1pm. This is the place to meet your farmers directly and ask any questions you have. Scroll down for more information on the farmers and makers!

DOUBLE T FARM

Double-T Farm is an organically and sustainably run farm, owned and operated by Tom Kumpf and Theresa Ryan. They're located just south of Raleigh, NC, in the Cleveland School area of Johnston County.

They use organic methods proposed by the USDA but strive to go beyond them, as many organic growers feel it is only a minimum standard. However, since most customers come out to visit the farm, their presence on the farm is the ultimate seal of approval in their view.

Currently, they grow a wide range of vegetables for fresh markets, restaurants, and CSA members. They also grow fruits such as strawberries and many varieties of melons. Their goal is to teach the community that local, organic produce is a viable alternative to suburban sprawl, leading to healthier people and communities.

OAK CITY COFFEE ROASTERS

Love Locally, Love Globally

Raleigh is full of coffee lovers, and it's time we had our own coffee--one we love and identify with. One we love, because it's freshly roasted right here in the neighborhood. And one we identify with, because we know not only where our coffee came from, but also the farmers who grew it. Oak City Coffee would like to bring you closer to the source of your coffee by introducing you to your growers and harvesters. Your coffee started with some rightfully proud farmers, and getting it from their farm to your cup is a captivating story; they believe it's worth telling.

ESCAZU CHOCOLATES

We came to chocolate making from the culinary world working our way up as line cooks, sous chefs and eventually running kitchens. This background influences the way we approach the craft and the way we think of chocolate making in general, which is not that of manufacturing a product but instead as if we are preparing food for family. With care, integrity and respect for the quality of the natural ingredients.

FULLSTEAM BREWERY

The original plow to pint brewery. An all-welcome tavern. And, now, a seasonally focused kitchen.

We launched Fullsteam in 2010 with a single mission: to explore what it means to be a Southern brewery. Sometimes that definition means brewing with foraged and farmed adjuncts. Other times it means making innovative beers with local grain. And sometimes it means just making true-to-style beers more Southern in temperament.
