INTRODUCING

Here at Rebus Works, we've made a commitment to support local vendors, makers, and businesses by giving them a space to sell their products. With our "Vendor Showcase", we hope to highlight these businesses, so that you can see the direct effect your purchasing power has in helping our local community.

Don't think it matters where you spend your money?

When you shop locally owned businesses, control moves from the boardrooms of distantly owned corporations back into your community. The impact is immediate and personal.

SUPPORTING SMALL BUSINESS MAKES A HUGE IMPACT

These business owners and vendors are your family, friends, and neighbors. Having more business means putting food on the table for a family, paying the mortgage, sending a child to college, affording health insurance, and so much more.

Read about these companies and the impact your money makes below!

LADYFINGERS CATERING

Ladyfingers Catering is one of the leading food makers of North Carolina. Odds are that any event you've attended in the city has been deliciously catered by them. With their "gourmet-to-go meals", their ham rolls are now a staple in most households.

Ladyfingers has used their popularity to shine the light on other small businesses in the area. In their shop, you'll find products from all around North Carolina, making it a one-stop hub for finding (and championing) local makers.

After extensive five star training at the Little Nell Hotel in Aspen Colorado and 10 years of experience in fine dining, catering, hospitality, and event consulting in Charleston, South Carolina, Ladyfingers owner, Tudi Jackson knew it was time to make her way back to Raleigh.

In 2003 while working as a buyer for NOFO at the Pig, Tudi began her career with Ladyfingers as the event coordinator and hasn’t looked back since.

In 2013, she made Ladyfingers her own alongside her husband and business partner, David, and keeps her hands in every aspect of the business she has come to love dearly.

"It’s truly a family-run business — from our long-time kitchen staff to our event coordinators. Everything that we do for our clients is done in the same way we’d appreciate and expect it to be done for us in our own homes. Our clients’ experiences reflect directly on us, and we will do everything we can to exceed their expectations."
