TERMS & CONDITIONS
REBUS WORKS is a 1000 square foot Art Gallery in Historic Boylan Heights neighborhood in Raleigh, NC. We represent a combination of Fine Art and High Craft Artisans, and specialize in custom, Fine Art Framing. The building we occupy was once neighborhood grocery store at turn of the century. Our property overlooks downtown, a small park area and Boylan Heights Bridge. The gallery space and connecting outdoor areas are available for weddings, receptions, meetings, parties, readings, classes, retreats, and other approved functions. Our policies help to assure proper maintenance, use and enjoyment of our facilities. We request your cooperation in adhering to our usage policies to ensure continued preservation of property.
FEES AND DEPOSITS
Hourly Rental Fee: Fee is $150/hour for up to 8 hours, including setup and teardown. There is a minimum required rental of 3 hours. Additional time (beyond 8 hours) is $100.00/hour. More time, if needed or requested during event, will be subject to additional fees of $100/half hour.
Nonprofit Functions: Fee is $75.00 per hour for organizations with 501(c) 3 status. Additional time over 6 hours is $35.00 per hour.
Classes and Workshops: Fee is $35.00 per hour; required commitment of 5 weeks. Security Deposit. All checks should be made out to Rebus Works. A deposit equal to 50% of total rental fee must accompany Contract (completed in full).
Security deposit: The security deposit is non-refundable and confirms reservation of space for date of function. Lessee is responsible for leaving space clean and ensuring that no damage to the space occurs. Any damages/cleaning will be billed to Lessee. Labor incurred by Rebus Works to perform services otherwise the responsibility of Lessee according to T&C and Rules (attached and incorporated herein by reference) will be billed at $50 per hour. A valid credit card must be filed at time of deposit. Credit card will only be charged in event that damage and/or cleaning fees are incurred by Lessee.
Rebus Works Staff: All rental fees include a staff person from Rebus Works to be present to assist with gaining access to facilities for set-up and cleanup. Staff person will remain on premises for event to answer questions about Rebus Works and to ensure T&C and Rules of this contract are upheld as expected.
Final Payment: The balance of Rental Fee is due at end of event. Should there be any additional fees resulting from damage or cleaning required after event, charges will be applied to your credit card on file.
Cancellations: Cancellations must be made 4 weeks in advance for complete refund of security deposit. Any cancellation made 2 weeks in advance of event date will forfeit 50% of security deposit. Any cancellation made during week of event will forfeit entire security deposit.
