Bridgette A. Lacy is an award-winning journalist with a public love affair with food and culture. She served as a longtime features and food writer for the Raleigh News & Observer. She's the author of Sunday Dinner, a part of the Savor the South series by UNC Press and a finalist for the Pat Conroy Cookbook Prize. Lacy is also a contributor to “The Carolina Table: North Carolina Writers on Food,” edited by Randall Kenan (Eno Publishers, 2016)

Raleigh author Debbie Moose has written seven cookbooks, including two in UNC Press' Savor the South series: Buttermilk and Southern Holidays. She is a former food editor for The News & Observer, and her freelance articles have appeared in Our State, Carolina Country, The Charlotte Observer, Southern Living and other publications. She also teaches cooking and writing classes. She is active on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, and her website is www.debbiemoose.com.
