Rebus Works Gallery to Host “Love Wins” Pre-Valentine's Day Art Market Two-day market to raise money for local nonprofit helping Raleigh's homelessRALEIGH, NC – A local art gallery aims to make this Valentine's Day about more than just romance. Rebus Works Gallery is hosting the Love Wins Pre-Valentine's Market, a weekend-long artist and crafters market chock full of locally made jewelry, chocolate, pottery, candles, soaps and more. What: Love Wins Pre-Valentine's Market Where: Inside Rebus Works Gallery, 301 Kinsey St. Raleigh (map) When: February 7 – 8, from 2 to 6 pm A portion of the sales from the market will be donated to Love Wins Ministries, a tax-exempt organization working to provide support and community to Raleigh's homeless population. “We wanted to grow the idea that Valentine's Day doesn't have to just be about romantic love,” gallery owner Shonna Greenwell said of the market's philanthropic aim. “It can be an opportunity to show love for your kids, your parents, your neighbor and your community.” Elizabeth Galecke Photography will be on-site with a photo booth, where couples and families can sign up for their own photo shoot with a professional photographer. At the time of this release, confirmed vendors include: Elizabeth Galecke Photography, Spark Metal Studio, Juniper Bay Metals, Pear Tree Pottery, C.A. Candle Company, Jewelry by Clair Ashby and Nekkid Botanical Soap Company. Confirmed food trucks include: The All American Catering and Food Truck Company, Captain Poncho’s Tacos and RedEye Barbeque. The market will offer shoppers a selection local craft beers, as well as lattes and hot chocolate from the Just In Time Coffee Bar.
