This summer, Rebus Works is hosting nine week-long camps for children ages 7 - 9 and 10 - 12! See below for our camp schedule, course descriptions and instructor bios. More camp details for parents, including scheduling and what to bring, can be found here.

Camp Schedule and Camp Descriptions

All camps are $185 per child and run from 9am - 4pm. Late pick-up (by 5pm) is an additional $35. Classes are now filling by the day: 15 children is our max per class. Register quickly using our online form!  Aug 3 - 7 : Fashion Accessory & Design with Claudia Corletto - Create your own line of accessories and brand name, and bring it to life in an essential concept board. Meet local jewelry designers and get a true insight on the industry. 5 spots left Aug 10-14 (ages 7 - 9): Found & Fantasy Environment in Photography with Erin Debnam - Learn how to document the found environment on a walk outside, and experiment with methods for incorporating out-of-place elements to create landscapes that meld reality and fantasy. 7 spots left Click the registration form here.

Instructor Bios:

Jaclyn Bowie is a multi-media visual artist with a BFA in studio art from Appalachian State University. Jaclyn was a 2013 Regional Emerging Artist in Residence at Artspace and teaches Japanese Block-Printing at Pullen Art Center. She enjoys the challenge of using found objects and waste material in her art while striving to reduce her contribution to environmental and social exploitation.  Born in New York and raised in Houston, Texas, Claudia Corletto is a self-taught writer, designer and visual artist. She is the author of 7 cuentos, a collection of short stories and art. She has been a participating designer in the Redress Raleigh Fashion Show, and her work has been shown in venues in Raleigh and New York City. Erin Debnam studied visual communication and photojournalism at UNC-CH and documentary photography through the Center for Documentary Studies. She lives near downtown Raleigh with her husband, two young daughters, two cats and a very large dog.
