with Claudia Corletto

The fun continues for our intrepid young artists on day 2 of their adventure into the world of abstract art. We've included some of their artwork below along with a little a peek behind the curtain and into the camp happenings. Next up is Unique Batik and there are only a few spots left! Come and learn the ancient art of Batik, with Anne Courie-Meulink. Gain a greater appreciation of an ancient embellishment technique using traditional methods of creating batik designs, transferring designs to cloth, masking areas using hot wax, and dyeing techniques to create beautiful handmade fabrics. Fabric is provided, however students may bring white 100% cotton pre-washed t-shirts, summer dresses, or any 100% cotton fabric on which to work. abstract_day2
